A man carried out a suicide attack Thursday due to reportedly being angry with the IRS.
Austin, Texas (WiredPRNewws.com) – A man who was reportedly upset with the Internal Revenue Service crashed his plane into one of the agency’s buildings on Thursday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Joseph A. Stack targeted the agency in the suicide attack on a building that contained approximately 200 IRS employees.
As noted by the AP, Stack, 53, reportedly also set fire to his own home and posted an online note venting his frustration towards the IRS. Stack is quoted as stating in the note, “I have had all I can stand… I choose not to keep looking over my shoulder at `big brother’ while he strips my carcass.”
An investigation is reportedly ongoing into the incident and the number of persons injured in the attack.
