Rio Tinto Exec Pleads Guilty to Taking Bribes
A Rio Tinto executive pleaded guilty in Shanghai to accepting bribes. Stern Hu has been charged in China with commercial espionage and accepting 6 million yuan in bribes. Hu, along with three other defendants, could face up to five years in prison for bribery and seven years for espionage.

PepsiCo to Slash Salts, Sugars and Fats in Its Products
PepsiCo plans to cut by 25% the amount of salt, sugar and saturated fats in the properties it owns. According to The Financial Times, the cut in salt will take place by 2015 and the reduction in sugars and saturated fats will happen by 2020.

Internet Explorer Loses Market Share in Europe
Microsoft’s Internet Explorer lost market share across Europe in March, according to Statcounter. The drop is potentially due to the new browser choice screen, which shows users IE competitors. Microsoft agreed to add the screen during its antitrust dispute with the EU. Although the loss in market share is relatively slight, the gains made by competitors have been substantial in relation. The Opera browser, for instance, has seen it’s normal download rate more than double since the introduction of the screen.
