Erin Andrews has reportedly been getting death threats via emails.
Los Angeles (WiredPRNews.com) – ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has been receiving death threats according to her attorney. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), attorney Marshall Grossman stated Friday that Andrews, who is a contestant on the current season of “Dancing with the Stars,” received threats via numerous emails to a media outlet.
As noted in the report, the emails purportedly refer to Michael David Barrett’s case, which involved his receiving a prison sentence for videotaping Andrews seminude in secret. Grossman is quoted in the report as stating of the messages, “He refers to Barrett in his e-mail in a way to make clear to us that situation had some influence” but the man has no obvious connection to Barrett.
Grossman is further quoted as stating of Andrews’ plans to continue on with ‘Dancing’ despite the threats “She’s not the type to be easily threatened… She has every intention to meet her obligations”
