The actress has filed a lawsuit against Marc Cherry, who created “Desparate Housewives.”
Los Angeles (WiredPRNews.com) – Actress Nicolette Sheridan has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the creator of “Desparate Housewives” and ABC. As reported by Reuters, Sheridan, who formerly co-stared in the popular series, is alleging in her $20 million lawsuit that she was wrongfully terminated and assualted by Cherry while on the program set in September of 2008.
The lawsuit is quoted by Reuters to assert following the alleged assault, “After she complained to her employer about Cherry’s improper behavior, Cherry arranged to have Sheridan terminated from the show, resulting in her losing millions in future earnings.”
As noted in the report, in addition to wrongful termination and assault, the lawsuit also includes sex discrimination and intentional infliction of emotional distress among other claims as components.
