April 7, 2010 – The Republican National Committee’s spending and fund-raising is coming under fire from all sides, putting further pressure on embattled party chairman Michael Stele.
The Associated Press writes that a finance report showed that the RNC spent $982 at a Vermont winery for what was termed “office supplies,” which translated to five cases of wine.
Recently, the RNC picked up the tab for $2,000 spent at a sex-themed nightclub in California.
