/EINPresswire.com/ CECO’s emissions testing laboratory has been accredited by the State of Louisiana’s Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) through its Louisiana Environmental Lab Accreditation Program (LELAP) to perform stack emissions testing on reciprocating engines and gas-fired turbines, the company announced today. LDEQ’s Louisiana Environmental Laboratory Accreditation is a requirement for all laboratories operating in the State of Louisiana and its program ensures that laboratories are technically competent and capable of conducting quality environmental testing.
CECO’s state-of-the-art testing laboratory is equipped with the latest in instrumental analyzer and FT-IR technology. Testing capabilities include the ability to test for common criteria pollutants such as NOx and CO while also providing more complicated analysis for items such as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), including Formaldehyde. CECO routinely performs testing which falls under NSPS JJJJ and RICE MACT ZZZZ. All field testing is of the highest quality and CECO provides onsite results for all testing, including Formaldehyde, while having all clients their final reports within 5 business days or less.
Additional advanced field services such as engine emissions trouble-shooting, air/fuel ratio tuning, catalyst efficiency testing, and other specialty services are also available to meet compliance and performance requirements.
The emissions testing laboratory is part of CECO’s Training & Technical Services division, which provides engine and compressor reliability testing and trouble-shooting, portable emissions testing, fugitive leak detection, facility audits and optimizations, air/fuel ratio curve development, horsepower curve development, accident/failure investigations, and operations and maintenance program development.
