Ohio 18-wheeler accident lawyer alert- A fatal SUV accident, which involved a semi-truck, resulted in the death of a motorist in Butler County, OH.

Butler County, OH—A two-vehicle collision, which involved an 18-wheeler and a sport utility vehicle, resulted in the death of a motorist on Tuesday morning, April 27, 2010. The tragic motor vehicle collision (MVC) occurred on Ohio State Route 122, in close proximity to Elk Creek Road in Madison Township, Ohio, according to information provided by WCPO.com.

Police authorities reported an eastbound SUV, driven by 34-year-old Timothy Henry, was traveling along Ohio 122 when it began to round a curve and veered over the centerline for unknown reasons. Upon doing so, the SUV drove into the path of a westbound semi-truck, driven by 47-year-old Patrick Capps. The two vehicles became involved in a violent collision with one another at approximately 10:30 a.m.

While emergency medical personnel from Madison Life Squad responded to the scene to transport Capps to an area hospital after he complained of chest pains, the Butler County Coroner’s Office sadly pronounced Henry dead at the scene.

According to reports, the semi-involved crash was the second fatal accident to occur in Butler County, Ohio on Tuesday. Another deadly collision, in which a vehicle struck a semi-truck, occured on Ohio State Route 128 in St. Clair Twp. The impact of that crash left a 19-year-old motorist fatally injured as well.

Investigations into the Madison Twp. 18-wheeler vs. SUV crash are expected to be underway.
