… with $25,000.00 Writing Contest!
/EINPresswire.com/ New Orleans, Louisiana, May 5, 2010 — i Write It, Inc., launched iwriteit.com today. The website provides free content to e-readers such as the Amazon Kindle and Apple iPad. Drew Murray, a published author living in Monaco, PA, said that iwriteit.com was, “an exciting new way of getting unpublished writing to consumers and getting paid for it!”
How does iwriteit.com pay writers for content even though they don’t charge users for the content? Well, iWriteit uses an ad revenue sharing service from POGads.com. When a writer registers with iWriteIt they provide an ID for POGads.com. POGads allows iWriteIt to split revenue for ads on an author’s download page with that author. So, the more people who go to an author’s download page in iWriteIt.com the more money that author can make.
“iWriteIt’s system obviously makes it more profitable for authors to publish serials or split books up into smaller chapters,” said John Conry, esq., owner and CEO of I Write It, Inc. “A good writer could produce a regular income by publishing a chapter a week in a serial. They could also enter our writing tournament and win $30,000.00.”
iWriteit.com is running a writing tournament to kick off their launch. To enter the first round authors must submit an original short story. iWriteIt.com anticipates 8 to 10 rounds in the tournament in which the final winner will get $30,000.00. The deadline to submit a short story for the tournament is July 1, 2010.
Shawn Deggins of New Orleans, Louisiana, wrote a book years ago, he was going to put it on iWriteit.com and see what happened. “I never got around to really submitting it for publication so this gives me a change to publish it and start getting paid for it tomorrow.”
