Yesterday’s arrest was gratifying. Our clients rarely get vindication where the defendant is put out of business and stopped from ever doing this again. Our work exposed what this pharmacist had been getting away with for years, making millions. The practice continues with many Internet pharmacies putting controlled medications into the marketplace without a prescription written by a physician who has examined the patient. Unless this is stopped, more victims will be injured or killed.
