Moroccan Students Deported from Italy for Allegedly Plotting to Kill Pope Benedict XVI

May 18, 2010 /EIN Presswire/ — An Italian wire service has reported that two Moroccan men were deported last month from Italy for plotting to kill Pope Benedict XVI.

The two men had been students at the University of Perugia until their expulsion. Anti-terror police in Perugia reportedly intercepted their plans in a series of tapped telephone conversations.
