iPhone app offers real-time access to 95,000 properties for sale/rent with powerful search, GPS capabilities and a host of other rich features
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – Malaysia’s No. 1 property website, iProperty.com Malaysia has announced the official release of Malaysia’s first real estate iPhone application, now available free of charge at the iTunes App Store. The property search app allows property hunters on-the-move to search iProperty.com Malaysia’s entire database of over 95,000 current homes for sale and rent from their iPhones as well as a host of other features including GPS capabilities.
Built-in GPS Property Mapping Feature
The app’s most impressive feature uses GPS technology which pinpoints a user’s location on the iPhone’s built-in map and shows properties available for sale/rent surrounding the user. Users can then select a property they are interested in and get directions to view the house first hand. Property listings are updated as the user moves around the neighbourhood.
Property Search Feature
The iProperty.com app gives users the flexibility to search and filter new developments and secondary properties for rent and sale by a variety of criteria which includes property type, state, area, price range and by keyword. For speedier searches in the future, users can choose to save their search criteria for quick access. The list can be sorted by price, recency or size to provide greater flexibility.
Property Details Features
House hunters on the go can view property listings in full detail with descriptions, pictures, maps with driving directions and loan calculators available on every listing page. Users can also shortlist property listings for viewing later and have the option to email the listing to a friend for opinions and even call, sms or email the agent to enquire further.
Directories
Condo and agent directories are also available on the app for users to have a quick summary of over 1,500 condominiums in Malaysia and access contact details of over 4,000 property agents.
“The launch of iProperty.com Malaysia’s app is a testament of our commitment to continually deliver innovative products to meet current and future consumer needs. We are already in the process of developing property search apps and mobile versions of the website to serve the Singapore and Hong Kong market,” said Shaun Di Gregorio, Chief Executive Officer of the iProperty.com Group.
