Charlie Crist signs bill into Law-Floridians gain better access to the courts

06/29/2010 // West Palm Beach, FL // Rene Perras…… Le Buzz // Rene Perras

Charlie Christ continues to amaze by signing the HB 25 bill last May 11, 2010. This new law will eliminate time limits in filing law suits on behalf of victims of sexual abuse who are 16 years old or younger. It is always a good day for Floridians when their constitutional rights to the Florida courts are maintained or enhanced. Disappointingly the Florida Catholic Conference did not support the civil portion of this bill believing “it would create great uncertainty for any organization”.
