Latest in the line of first-party Wii titles moves nearly a quarter-million units
July 15, 2010 — Wii Party crashed the Japanese software chart, debuting at number one for the week ending July 11. The minigame bonanza sold 235,000 units in its first week, according to Media Create.
Wii Play’s numbers we comfortably ahead of last week’s other major debut, Sony’s White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness for PS3. The game sold an impressive 176,000 units.
