Social media marketing for attorneys means building relationships online via networking sites like Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn. Some are concerned that attorneys using social media will break client confidentiality or advertising rules. This is not the case when these boundaries are understood by the person running the social media efforts. A good rule of thumb to use on social media sites is if you wouldn’t stand up in say it in a face to face networking event, then don’t say it online.
