New Milford, CT – September 21, 2010 – Glacier Computer, a leading developer and supplier of rugged industrial computing solutions, announces the availability of the EX25 Imager in the M300 & M305 rugged mobile handheld computers. The addition of the EX25 Imager offers unparalleled flexibility to read 1D and 2D barcodes, omni-directionally at distances from 6 inches to over 50 feet (15 cm to 15m). The M300 & M305 now provides near and far range scanning on paper barcodes for extra long-range reading of pallet labels from the ground up to the third level of stacking. Built to work in the most hostile environments, the EX25 Imager operates from total darkness to full sunshine over a large temperature range and complies with the most stringent standards for shock and vibration.
The M300 and M305 handheld computers are designed with many of the same attributes inherent in Glacier’s Everest Series of vehicle-mount computers such as high quality ruggedization and configuration flexibility. The M300 and M305 are built with a modular design that is easily configured to meet the specific needs of every end user. The M305 features an ergonomic pistol grip, designed for fatigue free all day scanning. Both models utilize the M3 Series board-level ruggedization technique to provide a light-weight, durable form factor that is sealed to IP65 rating and certified to withstand multiple 6 foot drops to concrete.
