Norcross Georgia – September 23, 2010 — Leather World Fine Furniture is GOING OUT OF BUSINESS and will soon close its doors forever. Founded in 2002 as Atlanta’s largest and most exclusive specialty store, Leather World has continued to offer its customers the latest styles and products for discriminating shoppers. The decision to close both the Norcross and Buford Leather World/Bedroom World stores was made only after considerable analysis of the current economic conditions. Maury Froy, General Manager, revealed plans for the closing of both stores with a short statement: “The decision to close both stores was a difficult choice. Leather World is a part of the history in Atlanta and we have loved being a part of so many families’ lives. However, the ownership has personal reasons to close and given the current economic conditions; we wanted to hold an event thanking customers for their past loyalty”.
Mr. Froy went on to assure current customers that Leather World will honor all existing warranties and service agreements and until every item was sold, offer the same in home delivery as previously offered. Mr. Froy continued: “All customers should be assured that all on order merchandise will be delivered in the immediate future”.
When asked about the values being offered during the Store closing event, Mr. Froy stated: “The Leather World / Bedroom World Fine Furniture going-out-of-business total liquidation offers reductions of up to 75% OFF on every item in our huge inventory and will begin on Thursday, September 23rd”. He went on to say, “We have two beautiful showrooms, one in Norcross and the other in Buford. Together with our large warehouse there is over 4 acres of fine quality leather, bedroom furniture, and unique handmade oriental rugs on display. Over $4 million dollars worth of brand new furniture will be sold as quickly as possible at the lowest prices in the store’s history.” Froy continues, “Every item in the multi-million dollar inventory will be sold at total liquidation prices, regardless of cost…This is a wall-to-wall total sell-off.”
According to Froy, the total liquidation event will allow them and their employee’s one final chance to serve area residents and to say thanks for the memories. Froy said, “We have been so gratified by the wonderful support our customers have given us over these many years. That’s why we’ve decided to have a major going-out-of-business total liquidation and offer price reductions unlike any we’ve ever had in the store’s history. This event will give customers the opportunity to own fine home furnishings at once-in-a-lifetime savings, and it will be our way of saying thanks. Anyone who buys at this event will be able to furnish their homes with outstanding fine quality merchandise, for less than any other retail store”.
