Completing its second year in business, entertainment industry drapery rental supplier Rent What? Inc. announces the launch of its new second generation website at rentwhatinc.com.
The newly re-designed site is intended to better reflect the mission of Rent What?, which is to provide a superior level of customer service well beyond the typical rental supplier. While the original website was a virtual catalog of soft goods and drapery products for rent, (from curtains and drapes to pipe and drape systems) the new site is loaded with photos and videos – a place to go for ideas and inspiration.
“Our niche is to be outrageous in our ability to serve the entertainment industry,” said Rent What? Inc. partner Megan Duckett. “Our website has to be part of that and do a great job speaking to the marketplace. So we’ve gone beyond just the presentation of our inventory and created a place where show designers can browse and get ideas. Now we’re truly an online resource!”
With its increased functionality, site visitors can now see a full presentation of drapery products and soft good applications, complete with filmstrips and videos. Interactive break-out pages for the rental company’s drapery collections are included so designers can get ideas for their own shows, and an awareness that much of what can make their productions and events special can actually be rented. The tour portfolio page features Rent What? drapery products on stage with some of the biggest stars, from Alice In Chains to Janet Jackson. An expanded user-friendly FAQs page answers all those important questions about doing business with the drapery rental service. The updated Press Room page contains more videos and stories about recent and upcoming concert tours featuring Rent What? rental drapes, curtains, and supplies.
“We wanted to give producers and designers an experience, not just a catalog, added Rent What? business partner Marce Forrester. As a team, we strive daily to push the limits in terms of inventory originality and we believe that the new website reflects that commitment to creativity.”
Reflecting on the first two years in business as Rent What? Inc., Duckett says the company has honed its mission and its passion, which is to provide “extreme service.” The willingness to answer calls at all hours, work with all sizes of rental customers with equal zeal, and do whatever it takes to ensure a client’s satisfaction sets Rent What? above the competition and accounts for the company’s successful two year trajectory.
