Oct 21, 2010 /EIN Presswire/ – Following her stunning loss in the Republican primary to Tea Party candidate Joe Miller, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski is waging a write-in campaign to retain her seat in Congress.
Taking to the airwaves, Murkowski is not only encouraging voters to choose her in next month’s election, she is also teaching them how to spell her name through a song.
Her efforts are apparently working. Last month, polls showed Miller 15 points ahead of Murkowski, but the race now shows a dead-even contest, with Democratic candidate McAdams right behind and closing in the gap quickly.
