Top Provider of Long Island Braces, Dr. Gellerman Joins with Local Dentists for Huntington Community Event to Benefit Local Hospital.
HUNTINGTON, N.Y. – As one of the top Long Island children’s orthodontists, Dr. Inna Gellerman knows a thing or two about bringing smiles to faces. In an effort to bring Halloween cheer to patients of the Huntington Hospital’s Pediatric Ward, Dr. Gellerman hosted a pumpkin-decorating event. The “Pumpkin Run” was considered a success, as area dentists decorated pumpkins to donate to the hospital.
“The response to the ‘Pumpkin Run’ was truly moving,” Dr. Gellerman said. “The pumpkins that were submitted were amazing. It’s clear that everyone who participated put their hearts into designing and creating these works of art for the children at Huntington Hospital.”
As part of the Pumpkin Run, participating dental offices decorated pumpkins for display at a Fall Festival, sponsored by Gellerman. Patients picked the winners, and the pumpkins were then donated to Huntington Hospital.
Pumpkin designs ranged from a Mr. Potato Head pirate to Jack Skeleton, star of “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” The winning pumpkin, submitted by Dr. Christine Vice, resembled a pouncing tiger. The runner-up, submitted by Dr. Tracy Stewart, was an elaborate pumpkin carriage scene from “Cinderella.”
Dr. Gellerman, a leader in Long Island children’s orthodontics, specializes in improving smiles, with services including braces and surgical orthodontics.
“As a part of this community, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to give back. I’m grateful for the help we received and for the effort that went into this meaningful event,” Gellerman said.
