North Carolina – A cancer survivor has alleged that Transportation Security Administration agents forced her to remove her prosthetic breast during an airport security check. As reported by FoxNews.com, Charlotte-area flight attendant Cathy Bossi says two female agents with TSA made her show them the prosthetic during a pat down.
Bossi is quoted in the report as stating of the incident, “I did not take the name of the person at the time because it was just so horrific of an experience, I couldn’t believe someone had done that to me… I’m a flight attendant. I was just trying to get to work.”
As noted in the report, many travelers have voiced opposition to airport passenger pat down policies and high-tech scanners used to produce body images some have deemed too invasive. TSA has reportedly stated they are looking into the recent incident.
