Larry Morgan, the CEO and Owner of the Tampa Bay based Morgan Automotive group, appeared on the CNBC program The Call to discuss automotive sales trends in relation to rising fuel prices. With well over 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, Larry Morgan is an expert with vast knowledge of automotive sales cycles.
“It was an excellent experience” said Morgan of his appearance on the show. “There are clearly a lot of questions surrounding the automotive industry and to be able to lend my expertise to CNBC to answer those questions is beneficial not only to my business but the industry as a whole.” Morgan went on to say “There are a lot of people out there on the fence who are wondering whether or not now is the time to buy, and having the platform to let customers know that there are tremendous opportunities out there for buyers is a great thing.”
Over his career, Morgan has built several successful businesses from scratch; most notably he turned a one location tire retailer into one of the largest tire retailers in the United States.
After selling his successful tire business, Morgan began opening car dealerships under the Morgan Auto Group. Morgan’s dealership group has grown significantly in recent years and now boasts nine locations including: Honda of Ocala, Wade Raulerson Buick GMC, Honda of Gainesville (Formerly Wade Raulerson Honda), Toyota of Tampa Bay, Ford of Port Richey, Port Richey Mitsubishi, BMW of Sarasota, and Mini of Wesley Chapel.
