Tonight, June 27, 2011, at 9:00 PM (EDT), HBO will debut a new documentary, “Hot Coffee.”
“Hot Coffee” tells the real story behind the Stella Liebeck, the 79-year-old woman, who sued McDonalds after receiving massive burns from a spilled cup of coffee, as well as the corporate misinformation campaign to discredit her story. The Washington Post says the movie will “send audiences out of the theatre thinking in a brand new way.”
