HIV dating and herpes dating site www.datepositive.net reduces fees to help more people join in current tough economic climate.
/EINPresswire.com/ An HIV dating and herpes dating website has cut membership fees to help more people join in the current economic climate.
www.datepostive.net made the move after some members emailed to say they had lost their jobs and couldn’t afford to upgrade.
“Our Premium fee was pretty low anyway, at under £5 a month,” said Steve Smith, one of the site’s owners. “But we decided to have a sale and make the cost even lower to just £3 a month.
“This prolonged downturn has had a devastating effect on people’s lives,” he continued. “Losing your job and having to watch every penny is no fun at all. So if we can help in some small way, we’re glad to.”
The STD dating site does offer free Premium membership to people who are unemployed or on benefits. Such members just need to scan in any relevant form confirming their status and send it to the site administrators in full confidence.
www.datepositive.net was launched four years ago and is open to people around the world with a sexually transmitted infection. If provides a safe and secure environment for people looking for friendship, dating or a long-term relationship.
“People with STIs often feel judged unfairly by others,” added Steve. “www.datepositive.net removes any sense of stigma and offers a trusting place where members don’t have to worry about being rejected by potential partners.”
The www.datepositive.net sale price runs until July 15, 2011, and will likely be extended by one month to give more people a chance to benefit from the offer.
