Columbine Label Company, Inc. recently received a Eugene Singer Award for Management Excellence in the small business category from the Tag and Label Manufacturing Institute (TLMI) at the organization’s annual award banquet held in Palm Beach, Florida.
The award recognizes business management excellence as measured and defined by an established set of growth and profitability ratios obtained from TLMI’s management ratio study. Columbine Label has participated in the ratio study each year and utilized the results to benchmark its progress against other TLMI members.
“We are very honored to have won the award, and all the credit goes to the Columbine team,” said Columbine Label president Greg N. Jackson. “2010 was our best year so far, and a lot of hard work, effort and doing what needed to be done for our customers is what yielded the final winning result.”
Jackson attributes Columbine Label’s success to executing against the company’s established goals through teamwork and a strong commitment to quality products. The company maintains a 1/10th of 1 percent customer reject rate each year.
