In response to business picking up, McCarty Motors, dealer of Nissan and Honda cars, recently hired Matt Lockhart as its new general sales manager. Lockhart is responsible for increasing dealership sales using a combination of unique promotion strategies and outreach tactics.
Lockhart most recently worked for two Rydell Automotive Group dealerships, where he gained a variety of sales and leadership skills in the 10 years with them. Prior to that, he worked at McCarty Motors for more than nine years as a sales consultant and assistant manager. He is now returning to his hometown and professional roots to contribute again to McCarty Motors’ expanding business.
“Matt’s years of sales experience will be a great contribution to our Nissan and Honda dealership as we execute our expansion plans,” said Greg McCarty, president of McCarty Motors.
Lockhart is excited to be back in Laramie, the home of his alma mater the University of Wyoming. In his new role as general sales manager, he hopes to re-kindle the community and client relationships he previously developed in the city where he and his family grew up.
Kasey Goodrich, a long-time employee and manager of the dealership, has been promoted to business manager in charge of the finance department, used car department and assistant general manager.
