/EINPresswire.com/ Sales projection for Kindle Fire rose to five million. Amazon will need to maintain a good inventory of their new device to meet that projected sales number.
Sales projection for Kindle Fire rose from four million to five million for the fourth quarter. This makes Amazon the first to challenge Apple in its technology market dominion. The recent projection was made after the new tablet’s recorded preorders were evaluated.
Preorders for Kindle Fire were accepted right after its release announcement last September 28. The first six days after the product’s introduction reportedly brought Amazon 215 000 early orders. And when shipping of the device starts in November 15, critics predict that sales could even go higher.
However, Ashok Kumar, an analyst from Rodman and Renshaw, said that the available supply of Kindle Fire could hinder Amazon from reaching the projected sales. And given that demand for the said new tablet is not limited, he added that the company should keep enough supply of it.
Whether Amazon will meet the rising demand for its android-based tablet or not though, it seems that B&N’s nook color is in competition with Kindle no more. As kindle vs nook reviews are saying, Kindle Fire is far better than nook now when it comes to display, functions and even price.

“Earlier reports have it that Kindle Fire preorders are bumping high. Since its introduction last September 28, the new tablet is getting hotter by the minute. But have you ever thought how many of the device could be sold?”
“Well, an analyst from Rodman and Renshaw has. And according to him, the way it goes, a whooping five million units of Kindle Fire could possibly be sold by December. And given that its holiday season and that the said tablet makes a perfect gift, there is a huge chance that Amazon will reach and even surpass that estimate.”
“The first projected number for Amazon’s Kindle Fire is actually four million. After an evaluation of the recorded preorders of the device though, the number jumped to five million. If compared with iPad’s sale, it’s roughly just half of it. Nonetheless, it’s the first time that Apple sale had been challenged.”

With high sales projection for Kindle Fire, Amazon became the first to give Apple a worthy rival. And along with that, the biggest online shopping site is making the kindle vs nook fight a thing of the past.
In the many kindle vs nook comparisons, it is revealed that the latest kindle is way ahead of nook color. With its new and added features and functions, it is even sold at $50 cheaper than B&N’s e reader. And that just gives consumers the more reason to pick the new kindle tablet.
To reach the estimated sales of the unit though, critics are advising Amazon to keep track of its supply. Though the high demand for the said new tablet can increase their standing, failure to maintain a good inventory of it can bring them some problems.
