Perform Safe, LLC today announced a new Quick Studies™ online course. Conducting the Tabletop Exercise is the second course in a series designed to help facilitators create and conduct more efficient tabletop exercises.

“In just thirty minutes or less, these courses provide facilitators with training, templates and examples to make sure their tabletop exercises are conducted efficiently,” said Judy Benavides, managing partner and vice president of course development for Perform Safe®. “These studies allow Incident Management Teams to continuously improve their skills – even with the budget cuts and time constraints we all face.”

NIMS, EPA and OSHA all have exercise requirements built into their programs. Tabletop exercises promote relationship building with first responders, raise the confidence level of emergency management teams, and provide a medium for organizations to find the areas in their plans that require corrective action.
