/EINPresswire.com/Ingo Beauty Salons opens the door to beauty salons that cannot afford their own online marketing campaign. Every salon gets their own individual page on the site which can be edited/updated and allows the salon owners and stylists to interact with their customers!
“Ingo Beauty Salons began as an idea to help beauty salons with their online marketing efforts. We wanted to open the door to new and small businesses that couldn’t afford to launch an online marketing campaign” Mario Romis, co-founder of Ingo Beauty Salons, told us.
According to the US Census, there are over 200,000 beauty salons in the US and more than 650,000 independent beauty professionals. Less than 50% of those salons have websites to attract potential customers. That percentage is even greater when it comes to independent stylists and manicurists.
Initially, the site was going to concentrate on hair salons in Los Angeles, in hopes of creating the most accurate online Los Angeles hair salon directory, but as we saw in the beta version, it has evolved way past that. It currently covers hair salons, nail salons, tanning salons and day spas in every US State, and almost all big cities.
While a beauty salon directory in its core, Ingo Beauty Salons takes it a few steps further while keeping the online social networking trend in mind. Salon customers can create personal profiles and the site offers full social features comparable to those on Facebook or Twitter. Visitors can also review salons through their Facebook, Twitter, and Google accounts. But that is just part of the social aspect.
Ingo Beauty Salons goes beyond the review site standards, by allowing salon owners and stylists to represent their business in person, and engage directly with their customers. Just like customers, they can also create profiles, and once they claim their listing, their profiles will be shown within it and they will be able to interact with their customers by replying to reviews.
The site also offers a unique beauty salon deal search engine, which allows visitors to search for salon deals in their address or zip code from every popular deal and coupon site. All they have to do is sign up or login through their Facebook accounts, specify the type of deal, mile radius and their zip code and they are presented with a list of salon deals from Groupon, Living Social, KGB Deals and most of the other popular deal sites.
And the best part? It’s all free! While salon owners and stylists can opt for a premium listing which will definitely increase their visibility, the social features of the site are open to all salons. In short a beauty salon or stylist can use their individual listing page as a FREE alternative to a full-fledged website! We think that this is the evolution of social beauty salon marketing, what do you think?
