The Victorian House wedding venue in Kaufman, Texas, along with several local wedding vendors, is showing its appreciation for armed forces personnel by hosting a dream wedding and reception package giveaway consisting of catering, photography, flowers, Cinderella carriage, and more. The prize is currently valued at $7500, and could be worth even more as additional merchants join in.
The contest will consist of a one-page entry form and brief essay detailing why the applicants need or deserve to win, which will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of the participating vendors and merchants. In addition, applicants may also have friends and family nominate them. One winning couple will then be selected at random from the preliminary finalists. Contest entrants must have one or both members of the couple that are active duty US military (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard) to qualify, and qualified non-winning entrants will receive consolation prizes.

In this economy, we all need to pitch in. We’re blessed to be able to do this.”
