The author of ’21st Century Chinese Cyberwarfare’, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret’d) William Hagestad II, an internationally recognised subject matter expert, is holding a workshop on Chinese cyberwarfare at the IQPC International Cyber Security Conference taking place on 29-31 May in Brussels.
Hagestad’s workshop will assess the cyber threat currently being deployed by China in order to better defend against the advanced persistent threat. Emphasising defensive measures to be taken against the attack, the workshop will provide a rundown of the People’s Republic of China’s cyberwarfare capability.
Participants in the workshop and anyone with an interest in cybersecurity will benefit from reading Hagestad’s new book ’21st Century Chinese Cyberwarfare’ published by IT Governance Publishing. The book can be ordered free of shipping costs only until the end of May from this website: www.itgovernance.co.uk/products/3697.
’21st Century Chinese Cyberwarfare’ is a comprehensive and in-depth review of the Chinese role in cyberwarfare. Drawing on a combination of cultural, historical, business, linguistic and personal experience, the book attempts to explain China to the uninitiated. It describes how the combination of Chinese Communism and the unique cultural and linguistic heritage of the People’s Republic of China are driving Chinese cyber activity.
William Hagestad’s book 21st Century Chinese Cyberwarfare is available from IT Governance at a reduced price of £60 at www.itgovernance.co.uk/products/3697 (UK) or for $150 at www.itgovernanceusa.com/product/2376.aspx (US).
