Ashland, OR — The Image Collective (TIC) announces a significant partnership with Ashland Oregon-based Art Authority and London-based Bridgeman Art Library. This partnership leverages Bridgeman’s extensive, world-renowned digital library of licensed images, Art Authority’s award winning iPad art-reference application and The Image Collective’s expert digital imaging and printing capabilities. This partnership will offer the best quality print-on-demand services available internationally, generating significant revenue for institutions which have licensed images thru Bridgeman and providing exceptional reproductions of famous art to the public.
Users of the Art Authority iPad app will be able to view retina-display quality images from Bridgeman’s library and seamlessly order framed or unframed copies of those works. Similar functionality will also be available through a newly created web site. Not only does the partnership provide Art Authority users with the ability to own physical, large-scale reproductions of works they view through the app, but over time will significantly increase their access to great works of art, both in terms of quality and quantity. The images will be printed at TIC and shipped directly to customers. The service will initially be available in the U.S. and Canada.
