Designed for high school and middle school students, a series of free summer workshops focus upon study skills, math skills, and reading will be provided by College Nannies and Tutors of Powell, Ohio. There are several sessions and times available for the five different workshops. Student may register for:
Essential Math Skills
For ninth through eleventh graders, basic math skills and formulas will be covered during this workshop. Three sessions are available in July.
Science Skills
The workshop will review scientific formulas and charts necessary to be successful on the ACT or SAT. Also available in July during three different sessions.
Book Club
Two groups, one for ninth graders and another for 10th graders, will make summer reading more fun by meeting weekly about the books. During the book club, skills will be taught that will help with standardized testing.
Middle School Study Skills
Learn study and organizational skills to prepare for high school. Three sessions are available.
HS College Study Skills
Get prepared for the stressful workload that comes along with college. Three sessions available.
There is no charge for any of the sessions that will be held in the College Nannies and Tutors Learning Center. Students may attend more than one workshop depending up the student’s grade level and learning needs. Registration is required for the free summer workshops.
