Gary Matsuda, owner of the Scottsdale area College Nannies and Tutors proudly announces the hiring of Amber Kerich as Nanny Placement Coordinator. The Nanny Placement Coordinator is responsible for communicating with families, nannies, and staff to optimize availability and utilization of all nannies. The Nanny Placement Coordinator is also accountable for the management of staff including recruitment, interviewing, screening, orientation and training.
Amber has a Masters degree in Social Work with concentrations in Policy, Administration and Community Organizing. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Magna Cum Laude) with Sociology minor and holds a State of Arizona Substitute Teaching Certification.
She has worked both as a tutor and as a nanny and has interned at the Arizona Supreme Court helping to manage vendors. She has also interned at The Department of Economic Security Child Protective Services as a case worker.
“I consider myself a great role model for children because of 3 main things: my ability to relate and empathize with children of all ages, my ability to inspire those around me with consistent optimism, and in leading by example, which is prevalent in my commitment to pursuing an education” says Amber.
She and her husband hope to open their own business someday and she wants to gain experience working in a new business to gain practical experience growing a business especially learning sales.
