Oklahoma City – The remains of three people killed in a train accident in the Oklahoma Panhandle have reportedly been recovered. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the remains found were of three Union Pacific workers who were severely burned after two Union Pacific trains collided head-on.
The accident, which occurred Sunday morning, sparked a fire that contributed to the damage.
Another rail worker was also on board at the time, but managed to escape with moderate injuries.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Betsy Randolph is quoted by the AP as stating of the severity of the crash, “I’ve never seen anything like it… I would liken it to some of those way overdone Hollywood stunt scenes.”
Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the collision.
