/EINPresswire.com/The Center for Disability and Elder Law will host its annual Summer Benefit on July 18, 2012. CDEL provides free legal services for low-income elderly persons and persons with disabilities.
The Center for Disability & Elder Law (CDEL) will hold its annual Summer Benefit, “Mid-SummerNight,” on July 18, 2012 from 5:30-8:00 at O’Brien’s Riverwalk Café, located at 45 East Riverwalk South in Chicago. The evening will feature live music, an open bar, food and fireworks.
“This is always a popular event because it provides a low-key atmosphere for attendees to make a difference because the funds raised from the Summer Benefit directly benefit our very needy clients who are low-income elderly persons and persons with disabilities,” said Matthew T. Jenkins, President of CDEL’s Board of Directors.
The evening will also feature the announcement of winners of CDEL’s Annual Raffle. The prizes include: Dinner for six in your home prepared by Spiaggia Chef Tony Mantuano; 6 Nights/7 Days in a Daytona Beach 3BR Condo on the beach that includes a $900 airfare voucher; and a day’s spa treatment and consultation at one of the North Shore’s preeminent spas. Tickets are $25 each or five for $100, and are on sale before and during the event.
“Our Summer Event, Mid-Summer Night, is a great chance to see Chicago’s Riverwalk and raise money and awareness of the great work CDEL is doing for the disabled and elderly in the Chicago Community. The Chicago legal community’s commitment to CDEL will be on full display as we enjoy a night on the River,” said CDEL Executive Director Susan Keegan.
Tickets for CDEL’s “Mid-Summer Night” Summer Benefit may be purchased online on CDEL’s website, cdelaw.org.
