/EINPresswire.com/ HGTV’s House Hunter’s International comes to beautiful Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Follow David and Lynne Jenkins of Canada and their agent Chris Spears of Re/Max Ocean Surf Realty as they narrow down their Costa Rica real estate options to three luxurious Tamarindo condos.
Re/Max Ocean Surf Realty of Tamarindo Costa Rica and its clients are excited to be part of HGTV’s incredibly popular House Hunters International, a show that successfully combines travel and real estate as house hunters explore and purchase properties around the globe.
The Re/Max Ocean Surf Realty episode follows house hunters Lynne and David Jenkins from Ontario, Canada and their Costa Rica real estate agent Chris Spears. The Jenkins focused their search on Tamarindo, a vibrant beach town on Costa Rica’s North Pacific coast that scored a top three ranking in Trip Advisor’s Top Beach Destinations in Central America 2012. In the episode, scheduled for HGTV’s fall lineup, the Canadian family of five shortlists their search to three upscale Tamarindo properties – La Perla, Courtyard and Diria – all offering luxury amenities and great proximity to the beach.
The Jenkins had done their homework before traveling to Costa Rica. They selected Re/Max Ocean Surf Realty, a company with a North American affiliation and a solid reputation for helping foreigners buy real estate in Costa Rica. With the help of their agent Chris Spears, they also spent time researching Tamarindo condos so that they would have a feel for the market and properties prior to their arrival.
David, a regional manager of a large full service brokerage firm in Canada, says that “I always look at things from a business perspective. We agreed as a family that we wanted a three bedroom condo near the beach and town center. However, it was also important to me that any Costa Rica property we purchased would make sense as a Tamarindo vacation rental to offset our costs.”
Lynne notes that her approach is slightly different than that of her husband. “My focus was on the lifestyle aspect of our purchase. Of course, I wanted a good investment, but I also felt that our Costa Rica property should be something that would enhance the lives of our family for years. We all loved Tamarindo from the moment we arrived. It had everything we were looking for – a beautiful beach, quaint town with great shops and restaurants, and lots of activities for the whole family.”
The Jenkins say they were thrilled to participate in the House Hunters International episode alongside their Re/Max agent, Chris Spears. “The entire experience has been fabulous. The filming was a lot of fun, and to be part of House Hunters International after finding our dream property in Costa Rica, that really was the icing on the cake.”
Tune in to HGTV’s House Hunters International this fall to learn more about Costa Rica real estate and find out which of the three Tamarindo condos – La Perla, Courtyard or Diria – the Jenkins family selected as their second home in paradise. Pura Vida!
