Virtual fairs set for October 24th and 25th offer students an audience with more than 300 colleges and universities at their fingertips.
/EINPresswire.com/ CollegeWeekLive announced today its upcoming fall line-up of two virtual college fairs. Students are invited to interact with more than 300 colleges and universities as they decide where to apply for institutions of higher learning next year.
The online college fairs will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 24 and Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Students can join live chats, ask questions and learn more about colleges and universities of interest to them. Video presentations by schools featuring admissions representatives or current students will be available. There will also be expert video presentations online covering topics such as test prep tips, financial aid, how to write a good essay and where to find scholarships.
CollegeWeekLive now offers three large events in the fall to help students during the different stages of college planning, from basic research and information gathering to seeking application and deadline information to narrowing down their choices on where to apply.
“This makes the college fair process easier for students. They can do it all in one day at one place from the comfort of their computer or Smartphone,” said Robert Rosenbloom, CEO of CollegeWeekLive. “It’s also easier and more cost efficient for the schools to attend these virtual events for recruiting purposes.”
Students can register with CollegeWeekLive for free at any time, including the day of the event, through www.collegeweeklive.com. This also enables the student to attend various individual school live chats, watch virtual college tours and view videos about college planning, financial aid and potential career pursuits.
Schools interested in participating in the events can contact CollegeWeekLive at partners@collegeweeklive.com.
