/EINPresswire.com/ CMS Commander, a software that allows remote bulk management of any number of WordPress, Drupal and Joomla websites from a single account, has been updated to include Google Analytics integration, a network traffic statistics feature, maintenance mode and other new features.
CMS Commander is an online service that aims to help webmasters and business owners who have to manage multiple web properties by making it possible to remotely control all of those websites at the same time from a single account. The latest update to CMS Commander, which was released earlier this week, adds several new features to the service intended to save users time. Among them is the possibility to connect to a user’s Google Analytics account, allowing the user to review recent traffic statistics from the popular tracking service by Google Inc. for all their websites directly in CMS Commander.
“The new features are a big step into the direction we want to take CMS Commander: To make the management of multiple websites as easy as possible and combine all the tools webmasters need on a day-to-day basis in a single place,” said Thomas Hoefter, creator of the CMS Commander software.
CMS Commander – which is currently in free and open beta phase – is a remote website management software that allows webmasters to control all their sites from a single account in order to save time that would otherwise be spent on taking care of each website individually. Features include automatic plugin and theme updates, creation of scheduled website backups, bulk installation of new plugins as well as remote management of articles, comments, settings and user accounts. The software currently supports all websites built on the popular WordPress, Drupal and Joomla content management systems (CMS) as well as forums built with phpBB.
The new analytics feature allows all users to connect their Google Analytics account to their CMS Commander account in an easy process. After that recent traffic stats from Google Analytics will be displayed right inside the users CMS Commander admin panel, while they are managing their websites from there. The feature shows key statistics for each individual website as well as network traffic statistics, which give an overview over the total reach and traffic of all the users websites combined and compares important data, like the bounce rate, between all the sites the user is managing through CMS Commander.
The new version also introduces the cloning page, making it possible to copy an entire website to a new domain, and maintenance mode, which allows users of CMS Commander to take their websites offline with a single click and display a custom offline message, for example while making changes to the site.
