If you’ve ever seen the Chris Weaver Band play, you know that they aren’t short on personality, and their shows are always entertaining. Coming up with a video that showcased some of that flare for their current single “Standing In Line” was a task that veteran film and video maker Potsy Ponciroli and his production company Team Genius seemed perfect for.
Set in an airplane boneyard, the video starts with Chris and his band members approaching their mics and instruments as they’re being surrounded by thousands of firecrackers that are laid out by a couple of hot girls sporting obligatory Chris Weaver Band t-shirts. As the song builds and things start to heat up, the firecrackers start going off all around the band.
“We were looking for something as unique and explosive as Chris’s personality and singing are,” exclaims InTune Entertainment chief Jeff Catton. “Potsy had a great idea and pulled off some amazing shots.”
Ponciroli is also known for his work with Montgomery Gentry, Kenny Chesney, Colt Ford and other notable artists.
“Standing In Line” is currently climbing the Music Row Charts and is the second single off the Chris Weaver Band’s current album. Weaver has recently been seen in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin and of course here in Tennessee.
