PFS Aerospace announces first flights of low cost satellite delivery system for independent media and communications networks as the flights of the space shuttle come to their end.
/EINPresswire.com/ San Francisco- Sept. 21- From Cavallo Point on San Francisco Bay, as the last NASA Space Shuttle, Endeavour, flies past on the final leg of it’s journey , PFS Aerospace (http://www.pfs-aerospace.com) announced today that the era of easy commercial access to space has arrived.
Under contract, proprietary PFS launch systems allow a client to deliver a personal music network, video network, broadcast news camera or sensor package to space within hours of the need.
The highlight of the PFS Aerospace Fleet is the System 1 platform. It uses a combination of inflatable lifting body technology and counter-buoyancy propulsion to move payloads into space on short notice and at a less than 10 times, or lower, cost than competing space companies.
As the inventors and issued-patent-holders of ion microthruster technology and wafer fab construction for microthrusters and with a long history in space dating back to the first private rocket launches, PFS is poised to capture the value-launch market.
The System 1 launch and recovery system are the current lowest cost access-to-space technology on Earth.
System 1 technology has never exploded on launch and is unlikely to ever explode on launch. PFS customers state that “videos of PFS competitor’s launch-craft and payloads turning into multi-million dollar desert fireballs and small craters is upsetting.” PFS believes a space launch shouldn’t be a nerve shattering gamble.
PFS states that System 1 technology launches won’t burst people’s ear-drums, terrify wildlife for counties or destroy the atmosphere. PFS also states that System 1 launches are the greenest and cleanest launches on Earth and that System 1 technology will save a client more money than any other supplier.
PFS System 1 launches have 60% less parts to break, fail or freeze up, than competing systems.
System 1 technology can be launched from anywhere on Earth with shipping container-mobile based modular control rooms.
PFS System 1 technology is protected by issued and pending patents.
The PFS personal satellites and spacecraft have been developed with a technology consortium focused on the production of low-cost-easy-orbit personal satellite systems for community service groups. The first projects are focused on emergency communications, regional communications, toxin sensing and space debris clean-up. PFS has developed unique technologies to improve the process, reduce costs and ease logistics.
