New 24/7 bed to bed air ambulance service in & out of Africa
/EINPresswire.com/ Paris – Europ Assistance – Global Corporate Solutions (GCS) has launched Medico Rescue, its new 24/7 bed to bed Air Ambulance service based out of Pointe-Noire, Congo, in partnership with IBEX Air Charter. Medico Rescue’s Hawker 800XP, complete with a flying intensive care station, provides competitive, top quality and rapid response medical evacuations on the African continent or to Europe and the rest of the world.
Europ Assistance – GCS, established in Congo since December 2010, manages the Emergency Unit at the CMC Medico medical center in Pointe-Noire, Congo. It has now enlarged its medical emergency offer out of the country.
International Standards Medical Evacuations
“Our aim is to propose an international standards and close-by solution, overcoming the shortage of Air Ambulance resources on the African continent, considering the number of medical evacuations arranged in and out of Africa,” says Emmanuel Légeron, Chief Executive Officer for Europ Assistance – GCS.
“Our expert medical team and emergency equipment are permanently based at the CMC Medico medical center, ensuring 24/7 availability,” added E.Légeron. “The medical transport coordination is managed through a dedicated 24/7 Flying Desk for all evacuations.”
A Larger Air Ambulance Network
“This unique service is another step towards the reinforcement of Europ Assistance’s Air Ambulance Network, now made of 112 accredited Air Ambulance companies” concluded E.Légeron.
