/EINPresswire.com/The company, which operates several upscale restaurants in the New York City area, is pleased to operate at its new address, 544 W. 27th Street in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood.
KDC Restaurant Group, which operates and owns several leading restaurants, including Flor de Sol and Ventanas, recently moved Son Cubano, a Latin supper club NYC with a theme reminiscent of 1950s Cuba, from 14th Street in the Meatpacking District to 544 W. 27th Street in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood.
Relocating the popular Cuban restaurant NYC dining destination was carefully considered by the managing partners until the ideal location was found in Chelsea. “We looked at various location opportunities and after months of searching, we finally discovered the perfect spot for the new Son Cubano,” said Kevin Gouchee, one of three managing partners. “Fortunately, the crowd who frequented our previous location also decided to come with us. We are very pleased to be a part of the amazing Chelsea neighborhood and to be serving the great customers who live and work there,” said Gouchee.
KDC Restaurant Group is led by the managing partners Kevin Gouchee, Diana Gouchee, and Claudia Caraballo, and has been in business since 1997. The original Son Cubano opened not long after the company’s founding in 2001. The Cuban restaurant NYC has experienced increasing levels of success since it first opened its doors eleven years ago.
According to founders, Son Cubano is a full experience for the senses. “Our restaurant has always been about the complete Cuban experience—delicious food, fabulous drinks, live Cuban music, salsa dancing, and an interior that is both glamorous and welcoming,” said Gouchee. “The new location continues this unique New York experience.”
In addition to a chic interior that takes guests back in time to 1950s Havana, Son Cubano features delicious hand-made cocktails, appetizers, desserts, and entrees like filet mignon, lobster tail, and slow roasted Berkshire pork shank, all with a Cuban flair of course.
There are also plenty of surprises to be found in the new restaurant, like a private elevator used by guests hosting special events. The elevator leads to Son Cubano’s spectacular private event space in NYC called the Crystal Room. This spectacular space allows for seating for up to 110 people for a cocktail party, and up to 74 people desiring a sit-down dinner. Even the most discerning of guests will be impressed by the ravishing décor in the Crystal Room, boasting an elegant crystal chandelier, decorative walls, a full service private bar, stage, large drop-down screen and sound system, and private bathrooms. According to founders, the most popular events hosted at the Latin Supper Club NYC include baptisms, corporate meetings, holiday parties, and family affairs.
The new Son Cubano location in Chelsea is open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Mondays; 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The restaurant is closed on Sundays. A live band or DJ performs every Friday and Saturday for salsa dancing.
