The Frozen Ole Pond Hockey Championship will be held on January 11-13 in Alexandria, Minnesota. The 21+ hockey tournament has divisions for every experience level and is a fun, winter event for hockey players and fans alike.
The event is held over 3 days and hosts 7 different divisions on three sheets of ice. This tournament is a 4-on-4 double elimination, and each division will have a championship game and semi-finals if necessary. All teams registered will play a minimum of 4 games during the tournament and can play up to 8 over the course of the weekend.
Worried if the competition won’t be any competition? Or are you worried you won’t be good enough to keep up? Don’t stress! The 7 divisions range from the Warrior division, a team comprised of advanced to elite level players who have NCAA Division I and III College, Major JR. and Junior A or professional (any level) experience to the Sorel Boot division, a co-ed, no skates division. There is truly a division for those who came to win, those who came to have fun and everyone else in between.
