On October 1, 2012 three of NFM, Inc.’s finest travelled to Las Vegas to take part in Ellie Mae’s Encompass Experience 2012 National User Summit at the Wynn Las Vegas. President and CEO David Silverman journeyed with Project Manager Amy Shaw, and Closing/Post Closing Manager Pamela Knouse to broaden their knowledge of Encompass 360 and to network with many other mortgage professionals.
Ellie Mae is the largest software and service provider for residential mortgage professionals in the country. They produce Encompass 360, a powerful software tool that manages customer relationships, loan origination, and business management. As the leading software provider in the industry, it is estimated that over 20% of loans originated in the United States are processed and funded using Encompass 360. Ellie Mae’s Encompass Experience 2012 National User Summit was organized to educated mortgage professionals about the new tools and features Encompass 360 has to offer, to help brainstorm for future improvements and ideas, and to network with thousands of other industry professionals.
In addition to the many keynote speakers and breakout sessions featured at the conference, Ellie Mae also hosted an event to highlight the EllieCares volunteering division of their company, much like NFM, Inc.’s own NFMCares. The event was a “Build-a-Bike” project, which benefitted the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation of Las Vegas. NFM, Inc.’s David Silverman, Amy Shaw, and Pamela Knouse were all enthusiastic participants, building bicycles to help underprivileged and at-risk Las Vegas youth.
The Ellie Mae Encompass Experience 2012 National User Summit was a successful conference experience for NFM, Inc. David, Amy, and Pamela all learned valuable information that is sure to make NFM, Inc.’s loan origination quicker and easier. Through the various networking events, they also mingled with some great mortgage industry peers that are sure to be invaluable connections for years to come.
