Colorado – Snowmobiler Caleb Moore died Thursday after sustaining injuries from a snowmobile crash at the Winter X Games one week ago. As reported by Good Morning America, Moore’s family released a statement regarding his death after he succumbed to his injuries.
Moore’s family is quoted in the report as releasing the statement regarding his death, “This morning Caleb Moore passed away…He will be truly missed and never forgotten. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude for all the prayers and support they have received from all the fans, friends and family around the world that Caleb has inspired.”
Moore’s snowmobile flipped on top of him during the accident. His death is reportedly the first to result from injuries sustained by a competitor during competition in the history of the X Games.
