The full transition from the founder Charles “Chuck” Uischner to his children, Jill Collaro and Donald Uischner, is now complete. With that comes the new designation of Woman Owned Business now that Jill Collaro assumes a majority ownership position, according to the spokesperson for CD & Power.
“This change will allow for more opportunities to bid on projects that have as a part of their bid a WBE requirement”, according to Lisa Carter the GM for CD & Power. “CD & Power is very competent in the generator arena and looks forward to helping our customers fulfil their WBE requirements”, according to Lisa Carter.
The core belief of the company shall remain as before, “Powered by Integrity”, which it has retained and honoured since the slogan was adopted over 10 years ago.
In addition to concentrating on Generator Rental, Service and Installations as their primary business focus, CD & Power will also work to become a much greener company. “We will continue to work with several potential R&D companies to make generators more efficient and cost effective in their energy production as the new woman owned business unfolds”, according to Jill Collaro, the new President of CD & Power.
The day to day operations will still be managed by a team that has been at CD & Power for a combined total of over 80 years. Lisa Carter is the General Manager and manages all department heads and navigates direction with a clear and precise business strategy. Rob Nanney is the Service Manager and oversees all things related to service and rental. Ron Schrader is the Asst Service Manager and handles the scheduling of all jobs done by the technicians and Karen Stratton is our Branch Manager of our Sacramento Location. CD & Power currently employs 35 talented people with field and shop service, sales and rental capabilities.
