West Virginia – Shain Gandee, 21, one of the stars of the hit MTV reality show “BUCKWILD,” was found dead along with two others inside of an SUV on Monday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the bodies of Gandee, his uncle and another man were found in a red-and-white 1984 Ford Bronco which was partially submerged in a mud pit near Sissonville.
The three had been reportedly missing since telling people they were going off-roading after leaving a bar in the early hours of Sunday morning.
MTV is quoted by the AP as releasing the statement following news of their deaths, “We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends… Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly.”
Police reportedly do no suspect foul play in their deaths; however, the cause is still under investigation.
