Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants, established in 2003, was one of the first state-certified outpatient surgical centers in Pennsylvania. The surgical center was created to deliver a higher level of service and comfort to patients receiving gastroenterological treatments, allowing patients to have their consultation, procedure and recovery all in one place without having to fit into a hospital surgical room time slot.

Dr. Andrew Fanelli, the center’s chief physician, has more than 40 years of experience in gastroenterological services and is a double-boarded specialist in both internal medicine and gastroenterology.
