/EINPresswire.com/ IT Governance Ltd, the leading provider of training and resources for IT service management, has today launched a new ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor Certificate Course.
The ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor Certificate Course will equip both internal and external auditors with the knowledge and skills required to perform effective audits against ISO 20000, the international standard for IT service management. The course will include an examination which leads to the ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor Certificate qualification, accredited by APMG.
Alan Calder, CEO of IT Governance, comments: “The new ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor Certificate Course provides a recognised qualification for those involved in auditing compliance to the ISO 20000 Standard. Effective, regular audits of an IT Service Management System (ITSM) play a crucial role in protecting an organisation’s competitive edge by identifying areas for improvement as business needs evolve.”
The two-day training programme covers the requirements of the ISO 20000 Standard and the principles of IT service management, as well as providing delegates with practical tips on how to perform an effective ISO 20000 audit.
Places are currently still available on the first course, which will take place in London on 3–4 October 2013. Find out more at: www.itgovernance.co.uk/shop/p-631.aspx
This course is part of IT Governance’s ISO 20000 learning pathway, which includes the ISO20000 Foundation Certificate Training Course and the ISO20000 Practitioner Certificate Course. These training courses are supported by a wider portfolio of IT service management books and toolkits.
