New York – Amanda Bynes tweeted about her plans to file a lawsuit against the NYPD and her apartment complex after her arrest last week. As reported by ET Online, the actress, whose antics have been making headlines recently, took to Twitter after the arrest alleging police had sexually assaulted her after she had been taken into custody.
In her tweets over Memorial Day weekend, Bynes is quoted by ET as stating, “For once and for all, this is the last thing I’ll say about the mistaken arrest. I’m suing NYPD for illegally entering my apartment, lying about drugs on me and lying about me tampering with non existent drug paraphernalia, then I’m suing for being put into a mental hospital against my will, then locked up overnight for coming home after a facial and working out with my trainer like the good girl that I am.”
Bynes also noted her plans to sue her apartment complex, become a rapper, and get plastic surgery in further tweets.
An NYPD spokesperson for Internal Affairs is quoted as releasing a statement to ET of Bynes’ allegations stating that investigators, “have found no evidence to corroborate Ms. Bynes’s allegations. To the contrary, a credible civilian witness who was with the officers throughout told investigators that none touched Ms. Bynes inappropriately or otherwise engaged in misconduct at any time.”
